## How it works ?

Vasilis Skarleas Domains registrar is based on VScloud Connect systems for operations and accounts management. Once you are ready to register or transfer your domain name folow these 6 simple steps:

1. Select Register or Transfer from the menu
2. Proceed with your VScloud Connect account creation
3. Select Domain Name subscription. It's FREE
4. Wait for your account to be approved
5. Send your [registration](/domain-name/registration.md) or [transfer](/domain-name/transfer.md) request
6. Receive your quote and process the payment

## How much does it cost ?

When you are registering a domain name, it is registered for a specific amount of time, minimum for a year. The cost for a registration depends on the TLD that is selected (.com, .gr, .org, .fr, .de, .net, etc.), as well as the duration of your registration. Some TLDs start from as low as 4.95€ per year, going up to 55€ per year. 

Moreover, when you transfer a domain name from a regisrar to another, it is required from ICANN to renew your domain’s expiration date for at least one year. The renewal price always depends on the specific TLD and the duration of the renewal.
