How to insert/edit New Product (Wix Store)

Every site is created under Wix Hosting Service and has embedded an eshop, then you have realised that the site also has these extra tabs on its menu:

  1. Shop
  2. Cart (usually it's an icon)

To handle an shop is very difficult, but we have built for you a unique system that keeps all your store's data safe and secure in one place even if we talk about the products, the orders or the abandoned carts. Here you will learn:


1. Access the "Products" Page

The "Products" Page is a page that you can see all the saved products in your eshop with some general details. From this page you can Insert/Edit Products and to Check Orders (check for new and close the old ones). To access your page the only thing you have to do is to insert on your browser tab the link http://yourdomain.com/products (change yourdomain.com with the domain of your website). This page is only accessible to the Administrator, the Site Owner and the Store Director.

For the two buttons "Insert/Edit Products" and "See Orders", you can find its functionality and instructions bellow.


2. Insert/Edit Products

After you click this button, you will automatically redirect to a new page, under Wix.com name. You will be asked to login. To login, you have to use the same credentials that you use to login on your site as well. *These features are only available in a desktop computer and in some tablets.

Then the whole products page will open. From this page, you can Add New Products or to Edit the pre-existed ones. Moreover, from here, you can handle and all your collections if you use it on your main website. 

Always you can click on product to Edit or Delete it. You are free to explore all the features of this dashboard.

ATTENTION: You use this system under license and so you are not allowed to access some of the areas on this page. If you do that we will banish the website store, and you won't be able any more to edit, insert or delete the products. In this case, you will have to contact us from HERE. See which sections you aren't allowed to access bellow.

Don't forget to log out when you have finished. (the area in Red Cross isn't accessible for you)

3. Check Orders

We know that for every business is very important to know when their customers have ordered something from their eshop. Unfortunately we can't send you an email each time a user submits an order expects if the Site Owner and the Store Director are the same person. That's why, we advise you to access your products page at http://yourdomain.com/products (change yourdomain.com with the domain of your website) and then to click on Check Orders button. Leave this page open and refresh regularly to check for new orders that may have submitted

You have to follow the same process as to Insert/Edit Products in order to login on Orders Page (See how to login above). From this page you can see all the orders that have submitted as well as to set sent orders as closed. A whole management all-in one.
